Explainer videos are simply videos which explain something, whilst also promoting it. They’re generally between 1 and 3 minutes long.  They encompass:

  • Corporate videos
  • demonstration or instruction videos
  • Videos which explain the benefits of a product or service
  • showreels for professional speakers

They can be based on an interview, use voice over, or show someone talking as they demonstrate. They’ll incorporate ‘b’ roll or cover footage to help tell the story. Music helps tie the story together.
